Furnishing School Records to a
New School District


The District shall promptly forward education records upon request to officials of other schools or school systems in which the student intends to enroll.

The person responsible for sending records from AISD to other school districts will check to see if the student was currently receiving any special education services while a student of AISD. If the student was currently receiving special education services -- the special education records will be sent with the other school records. The records will be sent promptly to allow for the records to be received by the new district not later than the 30th calendar day after the student is enrolled in the new school district.
